Interpreters Needed at HBF 15 July 2009 The Helen Bamber Foundation is looking for Interpreters to support our Clinical and Legal Services team. Helen Bamber Foundation, Central London Payment on Sessional Basis: £18/hr for the first hour, £15/hr for additional hours, plus travel expenses The Helen Bamber Foundation is looking for freelance interpreters to support our clinical team. We are currently looking for both male and female interpreters to add to our staff bank in the following languages: • Tamil • Tigra • Urdu • Pashto • Mandigo • Georgian • Somali • Vietnamese • Turkish Specific tasks include verbatim face to face interpretation. This often involves interpretation of medical language and translation of culturally specific nuances and non-verbal communications. You should be accurate and quick-thinking. Previous experience working within a health context and with asylum seekers, refugees and other vulnerable groups is ideal.
