Staff and clients at the Helen Bamber Foundation are celebrating after a successful charity auction yesterday at Sotheby’s, London, in collaboration with the artist and sculptor Anish Kapoor.

The artworks, including pieces by Anish Kapoor, Damien Hirst, Ai Wei-Wei and Renzo Piano went under the hammer in aid of the Helen Bamber Foundation’s work with survivors of gross human rights violations including torture, trafficking and rape.

Foundation director Helen Bamber noted that ‘the beauty of what our clients achieve in their creative arts groups are mirrored by the pieces that these wonderful artists have contributed’.

We are very grateful to Sotheby’s for their support, the artists who have donated their special works to our fundraising efforts – and most of all to Anish Kapoor, without whom none of this would have been possible.
