Society is defined by how it responds to its most vulnerable citizens. Our advocacy provides a safety net to those in need, and aims to ensure a society which meets its obligations to every person’s human rights.

Asylum seekers often experience relentless stigma and prejudice from the society they are desperate to call home. They are frequently vilified in the popular press, and face increasingly stringent government policies. Many of our clients have paid a high price for speaking out in the past, and are struggling to get heard in this country. We advocate on behalf of people whose voices are ignored, on issues critical to their wellbeing. Whether threatened with removal to places where they risk imprisonment and torture, or denied healthcare in the UK, we help them to understand their rights and make informed choices.
